"Face of the Enemy"
By Richard Fawkes

Enter the strange Remor that destroy everything human in their path. The main humankind defenders are the units of the Interstellar Defense League, widely distrusted by their brother humans for their heavy-handedness. But they are fight and dying to save humankind. There are also other aliens scattered about that are strangely alike and suspected of be the remnants of abandoned Remor colonies.
This book had all the elements of a great SF book
but dies at the finish line. A great shame! Good plot, great setting, believable
characters, and well written. Hopefully there will be a sequel that will redeem
this book.
